We were also members of Distinctive Retreats from 11/04 until Tanner & Hailey filed for bankruptcy in 2006. We took about 15 trips w/ DR during that time, and all were great. We always thought this just seemed too good to be true. It turned out that was right. Now that Ultimate Resort has bought the assets of Tanner & Hailey, the economics are more realsitic, but we are delighted to report that the two trips we’ve taken so far (Cabo and Scottsdale) have been wonderful—every bit as good as the previous DR trips we so enjoyed. We still use the same member advisor, who is just excellent, and the whole transition has gone very smoothly.
